Brand New
I have such distinct memories from this last year of essentially moving into two brand new places - Napa and my new studio here. I remember falling asleep in both feeling that strange sense of new. Now I look at both with fond familiarity. I know and love every inch of my current kitchen’s layout.
I’m excited for the upgrade of the new kitchen, but its going to be all so new.
Yet like the article points out, starting new and fresh pushes you to do new things, challenge yourself, gets you out of any routine you once had. And we all need that now and again. I think that’s why I’m excited to try all those recipes in NY, not so much here. The anticipation of a challenge.
